Contemporary Realism Painter

My oil paintings are often vibrant images of nature, nostalgic objects in Still Life, inviting and textural Botanicals, and special locations meaningful to me here in Fort Worth, Texas and New York. Unique and often bold color choices, evident brushwork, and charismatic subjects stimulate curiosity, inviting you to linger. 

I am a member of the Outdoor Painters Society and the local Plein Air group, PAINT, Plein Air in North Texas. My work has been shown in a solo show at Weiler House Art & Antiques, a group show at Rio Brazos Art Exhibit, and recently at The Invitation Show at House of Neville Gallery. In the Spring of 2025, I had the honor of participating in the Historic Fort Worth Hidden Gardens Tour as an on-site painter.

Current works include Cityscapes, Plein Air landscapes, Still Life, and Botanicals. Always compelled to create,  my art practice has been active concurrent with art related careers including many commissioned works, murals, graphic design work, gift wrap design, and original art for silk screen t-shirts. Now a full-time painter, I’ve been given the opportunity to create my own paintings for the joy of making and sharing.  Workshops, Figure Drawing Sessions, and Plein Air outings nurture growth as an artist.

I received a BFA in Studio Art from Southern Methodist University.  A semester at SMU in Madrid allowed me to gain extensive knowledge of Spanish Art History which still inspires my painting practice.
